Felixstowe-based FOCS Logistics, a 100% subsidy of John Good Logistics, has been appointed UK agent for global container line TMCL. The move will see FOCS become the sole UK representative of one of the world’s biggest freight forwarding & shipping companies, joining a list of dedicated TMCL agents in 110 countries across the globe.
TMCL provides full container load (FCL) services between all major world markets and it also holds the required Ministry of Commerce license in China. The company is fully bonded for doing business with theUSA and has fulfilled the requirements to conduct business in countries where formal registration is required.
Managing director of John Good Logistics Ltd Alan Platt is delighted with this latest development.
He said: “FOCS Logistics is perfectly placed to handle freight imported through the UK’s largest container port and we are extremely pleased that we have been selected to represent TMCL in the UK. We now join a select group of agents chosen to work with one of the World’s biggest container lines.”
