Last year Good Logistics made the decision to offer ‘Kickstart’ opportunities to a number of individuals across various locations, within different areas of the business. The Government Scheme, ‘Kickstart’ has helped people, between the ages of 16-24 years, get back into work after lockdown.
The Kickstarters, across our company, have received training, support and employability sessions during their 6-month period with us. We value people, at Good Logistics, which is why we invest heavily into training and are committed to learning and development, to support our employees’ careers and further their opportunities.
We are so pleased to announce that two of our employees, Kameron Crick and Kacie Bloss, have now become permanent members of our team, after completing their 6-month Kickstart training.
Kameron Crick (above)
Kameron Crick was successful in the interview process for the position of Warehouse Operative at our Felixstowe Warehouse. Stuart Cowdell, Warehouse and Distribution Manager at Good Logistics, commented on Kameron’s success stating, “We are delighted that Kameron has progressed from the kickstart scheme to full time employment. He has been dedicated to any tasks set and settled in with the team well.”
Kacie Bloss (above)
Kacie Bloss was also successful in her application, for the role of Customs Clearance Co-Ordinator.
Kacie Bloss commented on her Kickstart journey, saying “6 months into my kickstart scheme I learnt so much to do with Good Logistics and the shipping industry overall. The support and attitude from others in the office has given me the motivation to continue to learn more and achieve the unthinkable in the years following.”
