Strike action at Port of Liverpool has been called off

Dock workers at Liverpool were due to strike from Monday the 14th of November, over continued pay disputes.

However, Peel Ports has announced that the dockers will no longer go ahead with the planned strike commencing the 14th of November 2022 and it has been postponed.

The strike action has been called off, as Peel Ports and Unite the Union have reached an agreement over pay, which will be “fully recommended to its members” later this week, in a vote.
