How have Commodity Codes and Import Controls changed since 01/01/22?

Updates to Import Controls and Commodity codes have changed since 01/01/22 and will continue to change over the course of the year.

Although Good Logistics are well prepped for these changes, it is important our customers are aware of what is happening and prepare / act accordingly. If our customers do not give us the correct information in advance, this could cause delays to your shipments.

How can I avoid delays from European countries?

To avoid possible delays, we ask our customers to make sure that they have all the relevant documentation ready:

  • Correct trailer number
  • Number of packages
  • Correct UK port of arrival
  • Name of ferry operator
  • Commodity code
